Our story
Sol-A-Way was established on 1 August 2022 to provide solar lighting. The gap in Bulawayo's market for high-quality solar equipment, and the daily frustration of unavailable power, led us into residential and then commercial installations.
The founders had four years of experience in the field through a partnership before starting their own brand, one they intend to be their legacy.
Lenin Moyo leads the technical department, oversees procurement and runs the technical support teams. Beauty Moyo leads marketing and creates the content behind Sol-A-Way's social media, work recognised as Outstanding Marketing Personality in the Energy Industry 2022 by the Zimbabwe CEO Network.
Both founders are certified through Bulawayo Polytechnic and have completed product and PV training with SegenSolar in South Africa and online courses with Pylontech and Kodak. They are God- and family-oriented, and passionate about helping the orphaned, the widowed and the vulnerable in society.

April 2023
We were at the Future Energy Show Africa and The Solar Show Africa at the Sandton Convention Centre on 25 and 26 April 2023. The show brings together utilities, independent power producers, government, large energy users and solution providers from across Africa.
2022
Co-founder Beauty Moyo was named Outstanding Marketing Personality in the Energy Industry 2022 by the Zimbabwe CEO Network, for the content and social media she creates for Sol-A-Way.
